Βρισκόμαστε στην Κρήτη εδώ και πέντε μέρες για ένα συνέδριο αλλά μέχρι τώρα δεν προλάβαμε να βγούμε στο πεδίο για φωτογραφίες. Κάναμε όμως μια σύντομη επίσκεψή στο Ενυδρείο Κρήτης στις Γούρνες Ηρακλείου. Τα πιο χαρακτηριστικά είδη ψαριών της Μεσογείου όπως Ροφοί, Λαυράκια, Συναγρίδες, Σαργοί κ.α. υπάρχουν σε μεγάλους αριθμούς όπως και διάφορα τροπικά είδη ψαριών. Γενικά μείναμε με καλές εντυπώσεις από το Cretaquarium.

We ‘ve been in Crete for 5 days for a conference in Biology and we didn’t have time to go photographing in the field. But we went for a short visit in the Aquarium of Crete in Gournes, Heraklion. The characteristic species of fish in the Meditteranean region (Groupers, Sea Bass, Dentex, Seabreams etc) were in big numbers and also lots of tropical fish. Generally, we left with good impressions from Cretaquarium.
From tomorrow we begin the quest for the Bearded vulture, targeting more species like Griffon Vulture and Coughs.
